Public Sector
28th March 2022
Event Overview
The world is changing! Organisations are now more globally integrated than ever before and new problems need to be solved.
Sharing and using data in real-time is not only the purview of private business, it should be part of planning and architecture for every Department, Agency, and Branch in the Public Sector.
This concept of Event Streaming, also called Data in motion, is the design pattern and technology that powers digital natives like Netflix and Uber, and one that traditional enterprises look to for digital transformation to remain relevant.
Now, government agencies understand that making smarter, more effective use of their data is critical to improved citizen experiences, mission success and program effectiveness. But many have yet to figure out how to keep pace with our increasingly data-driven world.
Agencies want to put their data to better use but are constrained because much of it is trapped within legacy systems and databases that are slow and costly to access. and their existing data integration frameworks do not communicate well with each other. Agencies require to shift data from being passive to an active asset with event streaming.
An event can be a policy decision, a visa application, a website visit, a tax return, a payment, a request for information, or anything and everything in how you think about running your part of Government. Let’s examine why events have become so pivotal in our thinking today why they have become a first-class concern for the modern organisation.
Attend this live roundtable discussion on Date to updated as we delve deeper into challenges faced by government agencies, the rise of data in motion ; how it is transforming the public sector by providing the critical, timely information needed to:
